“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up”. - Pablo Picasso
Very few people find themselves actually achieving their childhood dream, but I have done exactly that. Fond memories of watching Bob Ross as a young child and dreaming of painting like that one day, I knew I wanted to grow up to be an artist. I attended The Art Institute of York for Graphic Design in 2009. After schooling I was offered a position to take over her aunt's freelance graphic design clients. With such an opportunity, I have been in business for over 10+ years as a freelance graphic and web designer. Providing clients with magazine design, branding design, ads, social media assistance, web design and printed products customized to their business style.
In 2015, I started my second business The Color Mixer, a paint party business that can be found in venues/restaurants in the York & Hanover area. As of 2019, the Color Mixer now has its own studio located in Spring Grove, PA. Providing people with the source to find their creative side has been such an amazing experience and a blessed way for me to share my talent and love for art.
The most important part is no matter if I am designing or painting I still know why I wanted to grow up to be an artist.
